Can I Use Liquid Calgon Water Softener In The Dishwasher?

We have really hard water and the dishwasher is just not doing a great job alone. Any ideas? We’ve already been using LemiShine. Which works about 75% of the time.

I really would advise not using the water softner in the dishwasher…you can run the risk of the solution harming the pump and rendering your dishwasher useless (which of course, is worse than hard water issues!). Try getting a small water softner that hooks onto the water supply into the dishwasher (I’ve seen them at Wal-Mart and Sears). It may cost a little money, but you can rest assured that whatever dish detergent you use will effectively clean the dishes inside. Best of luck!

Jet dry is all you need. No, don’t put calgon in your dishwasher
