Don’t conservatives know that public schools, military, water treatment, etc. are forms of socialism?
Start fighting those things if you really hate socialism.

Most conservatives I know already send their children to private schools.
The military is not necessarily socialistic, if the federal government would return power to the states to form and keep militias (like the Second Amendment says we should).
Water treatment is necessary, but again should be handed down to state control.

Yes they are. But water treatment is handled by the local governments.
There is a big difference between socialism on the national stage that forces everyone into it and socialism at the state and local level which is allowed by the 10th Amendement.

No. The reason for this is still unknown. It’s either: a) an extreme form of selective perception, or b) an educational issue.
Regarding local/state versus national control of water systems; the former is communism, the latter is socialism*.

i am against public schools, why does everyone have to pay for them when there kids are out of school, not attending public schools, or don;t have kids yet.
the military is another issue same as water.

I believe the conservative idea is military for defense is the only thing a government should supply.

Don’t you know that not all conservatives fall into the mix you like to stir up?
I think it would be great, then you alone could educate our children, defend our country and drink polluted water. Wow, now you have solved all your problems. Is this the biggest worry on your mind?

oh you mean the failing public school, i wish i went to a private school, i can goof around all i want in the supposedly more difficult math class and still get an A, also a lot of people where i live get the their water drinking from aquifers under their houses or buy it in bottles from the store because the water treatment water is undrinkable, if you make coffee with it there is a film on top, that socialism purified water? only thing the socialism purified water is good for is showering/washing clothes/washing dishes, one of the towns near mine the water will actually change the color of your hair if you drink it
