Help With Leaking Water Softener?

I just notice my water softener is leaking today. It looks like water drop is coming out on top out the the “End Plug Assembly Std – White”. This is the model 5600 Alamo Brand.
Is this a leaking o-ring? Can I fix this myself?

    If you turn off the water supply and open the plug assembly if there is no o ring or rubber washer spread plumbers stick on it and reinstall without breaking it.
