How Can I Make A Hot Water Heater Look Like A Beer Bottle?
I live in southern Arizona and my HW heater is on the back porch, plainly visible from the tiled patio. How can I make the hot water heater look like a beer bottle? The heater is about the proportionate shape of a beer bottle, without the neck and cap. What material can I find / use to create the curved, rounded neck?

Hahaa..
What a great idea.
That would be cool.
But I’m afraid not too safe.
There’s heat and flames involved
(if it’s a gas unit).
It needs oxygen.
It needs to vent the burnt gases.
It gets hot..
I like the idea,
but I’m thinking the risk of fire is too great.

I would be simpler to paint it up to look like a beer can.
But, if you really want it to look like a bottle, and it is an electric HW heater, buy a slab of thick blue foam board ( 4′ x 8′) from the local lumber company, cut it into squares so you can glue it together to form a big cube. Then, carve it out with a sharp knife to the desired shape. Paint the finished bottle top with latex paint.
