Is Central Gas And Gas Water Heater Expensive?

Is there be a separate bill for central gas heating and gas water heater, if everything else is electric? The town I live in the electric company just does electricity, water, and sewage. Would this make me put out more money r would it be best to move in a place that has electric baseboard heating?
