Water Heater Making A Constant Whining Noise?
the 40 gallon water heater in my home is about 7 years old. It just started making this constant whining noise. Is something wrong with it? Does it need maintenance or what?

The heating electrodes are covered with mineral build up. You need to flush it out and replace the electrodes. There is a big chance of damaging them if you try to scrape them clean.
