Is it normal for this to happen?

If this situation prevails even after some days the cause may be high salt concentration in the incoming water. The sample may be got tested from a good Test Lab.

Yes. because of the pressure of the pump it can cause turbulence to heated water and little bubbles produced. Hence its milky color but once its settle it became clear.

Hi UK plumber / builder here, its normal your new system is heating the water more efficiently, it happens a lot with combi boilers, its only air that is formed as water boils. Look in your kettle you will see.
As the water boils it is being sent to your tap quickly not sitting around in a cylinder for the bubbles to disperse.
