What Is A Kenetico Water Softener Worth On Resale?

I have a kenetico model supra k -45 serial # 857135 a several years old i am guessing water softener. It is in working condition. I want to know what it is worth to sell it.

    First off, it certainly doesn’t sound like you even know what you have, other than a make and model #. Kenetico makes water conditioners, which effectively remove all sorts of impurities from well water, but once used and removed, I doubt if it’s worth much for resale. Your customers will have no way of knowing if this thing is or isn’t in working condition, and it’s tough to take someone’s word for that when they aren’t even sure what it is. If they take it home, plumb it up and it doesn’t work, they’ve wasted a lot of time and some money and won’t be happy. I’d say if you can get $25 – $50 out of it you’ll be lucky.
