Where Is The Timer On A Gas Powered Water Heater?
It is difficult to add a timer to most gas water heaters as you would have to turn off the gas flow. If you have electronic ignition you could probably do it with a much simpler timer to enable and disable that ignition. The thermostat itself is usually an integral part of the water heater, but it might be possible that there is something added to your thermostat to turn it off early in the day. You will just have to look closely at your water heater to see if somebody added something. It might not be a timer at all. If you use most of your hot water in the evening, you might just be running out of hot water due to build up in the heater. You might try flushing the water heater to see if you can get it cleaned out to make it more efficient. Good luck.

They do noy have TIMERS, IT IS CALLED A thermostat. Located at the bottom of the tank .Yes it can be turned up but be careful because somebody can get burned. If it’s 5 years old or older & has never ben flushed out theres your PROBLEM . Could be faulty therm.
